The Venue in detail:

Courteenhall is a privately owned late 18th Century House and Estate. The House itself has been scarcely altered since it was built and still retains many of its original features. This historic events venue lends itself well to occasions like a stylish country wedding, a host of corporate events and makes the perfect private party venue in Northamptonshire.

We can accommodate any size and type of event, offering a variety of spaces inside and outside of house. The dramatic entrance Hall leads to a fine dining room, a library and a beautiful sitting room all with their unique features. Wander outside to formal gardens, a relaxing water feature and acres of lush green parkland. The internationally renowned Arboretum and pre-war tennis courts are also often the topic of conversation amongst our guests.

Weddings

Courteenhall is the perfect country wedding venue in Northamptonshire. Because it is privately owned and lived in, there are a small selection of dates that are available each year, giving you the opportunity to hold a unique and exclusive wedding.

The Church at Courteenhall is conveniently located across the Parkland, in view of the House and is available for marriage services (conditions apply). As a contrast, bridal couples are free to choose one of the diverse spaces at Courteenhall and celebrate with a humanist ceremony.

All of our wedding receptions that host over 100 people are held in a fully equipped marquee on the parkland, with the dramatic backdrop of the House on one side, and the acres of parkland and Courteenhall Church on the other.

For smaller weddings, guests can enjoy the inside of this beautiful country house with many of its original features and historical charm. The grand entrance hall is used for an impressive drinks reception, followed by a beautifully prepared wedding breakfast in the dining room.

Corporate Events

The House, gardens and acres of far reaching parkland provide the perfect corporate entertainment location. Whether it be a board meeting, a product launch or an away day for the team, there is a space here to suit any occasion.
For larger events, we can set our white, clear span marquee on the parkland with the backdrop of the house. Our brand new Conference Barn is situated in the heart of the Estate is an impressive space for smaller occasions.
Inside the House are some stunning rooms also available including the grand entrance hall and the beautifully presented dining room. Courteenhall will provide the memorable occasion you are looking for.

Private Parties

With a handful of available dates throughout each year, you will celebrate knowing your party is completely exclusive.
We can accommodate every type of occasion from a celebratory birthday party for 20 in the dining room, a christening for 100 in the grand entrance hall, or even a black tie event for 500 people in our marquee on the parkland.
Every event is designed from scratch and you can choose to celebrate in the house, on the parkland in a marquee, as well as the formal gardens with far reaching views – or a combination of them all!
